Manchester City clashed heads with West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a win and move one step closer to the Premier League title. The visitors made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 24th minute when Jarrod Bowen found the back of the net. Bowen struck again in the 45th minute as Man City went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Pep Guardiola’s players made a good start to the second half and got a goal back via Jack Grealish’s deflected strike. Man City netted a fortunate equaliser in the 69th minute when Vladimir Coufal found the back of his own net. Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty late in the game as the contest ended 2-2 with the Mancunian giants only coming away with a point from the English capital.
