Liverpool faced off against Sparta Praha at the Stadion Letna earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road in the UEFA Europa League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the sixth-minute thanks to Alexis Mac Allister’s penalty. Darwin Nunez scored for Liverpool with a wonderful finish in the 25th minute before going on to score again in the first half injury-time. Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 3-0 to the good.
Conor Bradley scored an unfortunate own goa in the 46th minute but Luis Diaz made it 4-1 to Liverpool in the 53rd minute. Dominik Szoboszlai ended up scoring his team’s fifth goal in injury-time. The Merseyside club ended up securing a dominant 5-1 win away from home.

Kelleher made a lot of important saves at the back but couldn’t do much about Bradley’s own goal.

He performed his defensive duties well in the first half and was replaced at half-time.

Konate didn’t do much wrong at the back but had to be substituted in the 49th minute after he got injured.
CB: Jarell Quansah – 7.5/10
Quansah was a dominant presence on the defensive end of the field and was good on the ball as well.
LB: Andrew Robertson – 7/10
He was a positive influence in both halves.
CM: Harvey Elliott – 8/10
Elliott caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders and has got a hattrick of assists to show for his efforts.
CM: Wataru Endo – 7/10
He created plays well for his teammates and offered decent protection for his teammates at the back.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 8/10
Mac Allister ran the show in the opponent’s half and kept his composure to score his early penalty. He was replaced after the hour mark.
RW: Cody Gakpo – 8/10
He came back to defend when needed and was a lively presence in the final third. However, there was no goal for him.
ST: Darwin Nunez – 8.5/10
Nunez scored two great goals which gave Liverpool an ideal platform to go on and secure a dominant win tonight.
LW: Luis Diaz – 8/10
He was a real menace on the left-wing and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 53rd minute.
