Manchester United entertained Manchester City at Old Trafford earlier this evening as they hoped to grind out a result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 26th minute when Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot. Man United went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Erik ten Hag’s men conceded their second goal in the 49th minute before going on to ship in another goal in the 80th minute when Phil Foden found the back of the net. The contest ended with Man United suffering a poor 3-0 loss at the Theatre of Dreams.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player performed during the contest against Man City.

GK: Andre Onana – 7/10

Onana made a few solid saves at the back but still conceded three times today.

RB: Diogo Dalot – 6/10

He was far from convincing when defending inside his half and struggled to influence the game in the opponent’s half.

CB: Harry Maguire – 6/10

Maguire made his fair share of clearances at the back. However, it wasn’t enough today.

CB: Jonny Evans – 5.5/10

He looked vulnerable on the defensive end of the field and won’t be happy about conceding three goals in the derby.

Fernandes had a few lively moments in the final third but failed to register a goal.

CAM: Scott McTominay – 7/10

He worked his socks off and had one bright moment in the game as he tested Ederson with a decent strike.

LW: Marcus Rashford – 6/10

Rashford was quiet for most of the game and was replaced in the 85th minute.

ST: Rasmus Hojlund – 6/10

He gave away a penalty in the first half. Hojlund never looked like he would score.

His impact on the game was minimal.
