Marcus Rashford is a professional footballer who functions as a left-sided wide player or as a striker for Manchester United and the England national side. The Manchester-born sensation has proven his worth as one of the most reliable players in Erik ten Hag’s first XI this season and deserves credit for putting in a string of productive performances on the left side of Man United’s attack.

The 25-year-old has found the back of the net 19 times and earned eight assists in 32 appearances for the Mancunian giants during this campaign across all competitions. Rashford has led the line well for the Red Devils as he is averaging 2.7 shots, 0.7 key passes and 1.1 dribbles per game in Premier League football. He has even been accurate when distributing possession in the opposition half after making 77.1% of his attempted passes in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored).

Marcus Rashford’s Career So Far

Rashford was born in Manchester, England and joined Man United at a young age before going on to break into their first team back in 2016. The 51-time England international has banged in 112 goals and picked up 65 assists in 335 matches for the Red Devils so far on all fronts.

Why Did Marcus Rashford Win The MBE Award?

Marcus Rashford won the MBE award because of his incredible efforts to help vulnerable children in the United Kingdom during the Covid-19 outbreak. He deserves all the praise after successfully aiding to extend the free school meals scheme back in 2020.

We salute Marcus for his outstanding contributions both on and off the field and wish him the best for the future.
