Rangers faced off against Hibernian at Easter Road earlier today as they looked to secure a victory on their travels. The Gers made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute when James Tavernier found the back of the net. Rangers went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Ianis Hagi doubled his team’s advantage in the 55th minute before Todd Cantwell killed the game off in the 86th minute. Hibernian got a late consolation thanks to Paul Hanlon’s injury-time effort but the contest ended with Michael Beale’s men earning an impressive 3-1 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Rangers player fared during the clash against Hibernian.

GK: Ross McCrorie – 6.5/10

He made one good save during the game but won’t be happy after allowing a late goal which ruined his hopes of a clean sheet.

RB: James Tavernier – 8.5/10

Tavernier did his fair share of defending and was a constant menace on the right flank. He deserves credit for scoring the opener in the 32nd minute.

CB: John Souttar – 7.5/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field but was unfortunate to hit the post.

CB: Leon King – 7.5/10

King didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half and was a solid presence on the ball as well.

LB: Ridvan Yilmaz – 6.5/10

Yilmaz got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and managed to engineer a couple of decent chances in the opponent’s half.

CM: John Lundstram – 7/10

He anchored the midfield with conviction and made one positive run with the ball.

CM: Nicolas Raskin – 7/10

Raskin worked hard and had a couple of bright moments at the centre of the park.

CM: Ryan Jack – 7.5/10

The Scottish talent came back to defend when required and made two energetic runs with the ball.

CAM: Todd Cantwell – 8/10

The English playmaker was not shy of having a strike at goal and completed some dangerous dribbles in the final third. He got his name on the scoresheet late in the game.

ST: Fashion Sakala – 7.5/10

Sakala created some problems for the opposition centre-backs but failed to register a goal.

ST: Ianis Hagi – 7.5/10

He was responsible for doubling Rangers’ advantage in the 55th minute. Otherwise, Hagi was mostly quiet.

CM: Scott Arfield – 6/10

Arfield added some energy to Beale’s midfield.

CM: Alex Lowry – 6/10

The Scottish sensation made one key chance in the final third.

RW: Arron Lyall – N/A

He didn’t get enough time to influence the game.

ST: Robbie Ure – N/A

Ure came on for the final few minutes of the contest.

ST: Ross McCausland – N/A

He came off the bench in the dying embers of the game.
