West Ham United entertained Leeds United at the London Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Hammers made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 17th minute when Rodrigo Moreno found the back of the net. Declan Rice equalised for the East London club just after the half-hour mark as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Jarrod Bowen have West Ham the lead in the 72nd minute before Manuel Lanzini killed the game off in injury time. The match ended with West Ham securing an impressive 3-1 victory in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham United player fared during the match against the Whites.

GK: Lukasz Fabianski – 7/10

He made a couple of solid saves at the back but won’t be happy about conceding an early goal.

RB: Vladimir Coufal – 7/10

Coufal performed his defensive duties well and made one key chance in the final third.

CB: Kurt Zouma – 6/10

The Frenchman made a couple of important clearances in the first half and was replaced at half-time.

CB: Angelo Ogbonna – 7/10

The Italian defender was a dominant presence in the air and made a lot of crucial clearances inside his half.

LB: Emerson Palmieri – 7/10

Emerson was a positive influence for West Ham at both ends of the pitch.

CM: Tomas Soucek – 7.5/10

He anchored the midfield really well and was a real threat in the final third.

CM: Declan Rice – 7.5/10

The England international came back to defend when needed and made two promising runs with the ball. He deserves credit for scoring the all-important equaliser for the Hammers in the 31st minute.

RW: Jarrod Bowen – 8.5/10

Bowen was unplayable at times during the game and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.

CAM: Lucas Paqueta – 9/10

The Brazilian talent caused all sorts of problems for the Leeds defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.

LW: Pablo Fornals – 7/10

He managed to create some decent chances for others around him but failed to register a goal.

ST: Danny Ings – 7.5/10

Ings led the line well for the East London club up top and have got an assist to show for his efforts.

Substitutes:

CB: Thilo Kehrer – 7/10

Keher was a solid presence on the defensive end of the pitch.

CAM: Manuel Lanzini – N/A

He came off the bench and got his name on the scoresheet in injury time.

RB: Ben Johnson – N/A

Johnson hardly had any time to make an impact.

ST: Divin Mubama – N/A

He came on in injury time.
