In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Real Madrid have been offered a chance to land Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane. It has been claimed that Los Blancos could secure the services of the English forward if they make an offer of around €70m for him this summer.

Kane’s Impressive Form In English Football

Kane has enjoyed a decent campaign at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium despite failing to help Spurs secure a top-four place in the Premier League. He deserves credit for being consistent with his offensive contributions after scoring 30 goals and grabbing five assists in 48 matches for the North London club this season across all competitions.

The England international has given a good account of himself up top based on his average of 3.4 shots, 1.5 key passes and 1.0 dribbles per 90 minutes in the English top-flight. However, he lacks quality when distributing the ball in the final third as he has completed just 71.9% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the London club is set to expire in the summer of 2024. Therefore, it makes sense for Los Blancos to move in for him in this off-season.

Is Kane A Good Option For Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti?

Kane excels at finding space for himself to get a few strikes in on-target. He is an excellent finisher in front of the opposition’s goal and can also engineer some promising chances for his teammates in the opponent’s half.

The English talent is usually quite clever with his runs on the attacking end of the field but needs to work on improving his link-up play up top.

We can expect Kane to bring more goals and creativity to Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s attack. He is good enough to rival Karim Benzema for a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next season.

At 29, Kane is still playing in his prime and would enhance the overall quality of Los Blancos‘ match-day squad as long as he can make a smooth transition to life in Spanish football. He has what it takes to bring even more success to the Madrid club in the coming seasons which makes him a decent option for the Madrid giants to consider this summer.
