Liverpool entertained Brentford at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result in front of their home fans. The Reds made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 13th minute when Mohamed Salah found the back of the net from point-blank range. The Merseyside club sat on their lead well and managed to get to the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Jurgen Klopp‘s men managed the game well in the second half and earned a solid 1-0 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player performed during the match against the Bees.

GK: Alisson Becker – 7/10

The Brazilian keeper made one decent save at the back and earned an important clean sheet today.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7.5/10

The English talent did his fair share of defending and passed the ball really well from midfield.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10

He dealt with the danger when required and would be quite happy with the clean sheet.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 8/10

The Dutch defender made a lot of crucial clearances at the back and picked up an assist for setting up Salah’s match-winner.
