Manchester City entertained Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they looked to grab all three points at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 19th minute when Ilkay Gundogan scored with a good finish. Gundogan doubled his side’s advantage just eight minutes later with another solid strike. Man City went into the half-time break with a 2-0 lead.

Gundogan missed a penalty in the second half before Rodrigo Moreno got a goal back for Leeds in the 85th minute. Guardiola’s players managed to see out the game and earned a narrow 2-1 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against the Whites.

GK: Ederson – 6/10

The Brazilian keeper made one solid save during the game but couldn’t do much about Rodrigo’s finish late in the game.

CB: Manuel Akanji – 6/10

Akanji tried to keep things solid defensively but had some nervy moments at the back.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – 6.5/10

He didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half but won’t be happy about conceding a late goal.

CB: Nathan Ake – 7/10

Ake did his fair share of defending and was accurate with his passing. He got replaced in the 53rd minute.
