Chelsea faced off against Leeds United at the Vitality Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the ninth-minute courtesy of Conor Gallagher’s effort from close range. However, Matias Vina equalised for the home side just 12 minutes later as both teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

The West London club grew in confidence in the second half and scored again in the 82nd minute when Benoit Badiashile found the back of the net. Joao Felix made the win secure for Chelsea just four minutes later as Frank Lampard’s men earned an impressive 3-1 victory away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against the Cherries.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 7/10

He made a few important saves at the back but couldn’t do much about Vina’s finish in the first half.

RB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6.5/10

The English defender performed his defensive duties well and was accurate with his passing.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

Silva won a couple of aerial duels and managed to clear the danger when needed.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 7.5/10

He won the ball back twice and was a dominant presence in the air. Badiashile gave Chelsea the lead late in the game with a good finish.

CM: N’Golo Kante – 7.5/10

The French talent had a lively game in the opponent’s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10

The Argentine showed a few flashes of what he can do but produced an uninspiring performance at the centre of the park.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 8/10

Gallagher caused some problems for the Bournemouth defenders and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the ninth minute.

RW: Noni Madueke – 7/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and made some driving runs with the ball on the right flank.

ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10

The German talent struggled to threaten the opponent’s goal. Havertz did well to last 83 minutes.

LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 6/10

He made one decent run with the ball but never got a sniff at goal.

Loftus-Cheek made one encouraging run with the ball.
