Manchester United entertained Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford earlier today as they looked to grind out a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 32nd minute when Anthony Martial scored with a simple finish. Erik ten Hag’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Man United sat on their lead well in the second half. Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench and killed the game off in injury time when he found the back of the net. The contest ended with the Mancunian club securing a comfortable 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player performed during the clash against Wolves.

GK: David de Gea – 6/10

The Spanish keeper didn’t have a save to make in the game and earned an easy clean sheet at the Theatre of Dreams.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10

Wan-Bissaka performed his defensive duties well and had a couple of lively moments in the opponent’s half.

CB: Raphael Varane – 7/10

The French talent cleared the danger when needed and was a threat at the other end of the pitch as well.

CB: Victor Lindelof – 7/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and will be quite happy with the clean sheet.
