Chelsea welcomed Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home. The Blues made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 13th minute when Taiwo Awoniyi scored for the visitors. The home team struggled to get back into the game and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Raheem Sterling equalized for the Blues in the 51st minute before going on to score again just seven minutes later. However, Nottingham hit back just four minutes later when Awoniyi scored again for them. The contest ended with the West London club being held to a frustrating 2-2 draw in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against Nottingham Forest.

GK: Edouard Mendy – 5/10

He failed to make a save in the game and conceded two poor goals today.

RB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7.5/10

Chalobah made a positive impact in both halves and was accurate with his passing.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

The Brazilian defender was a strong presence in the air and was good on the ball.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 6/10

He made a few important clearances at the back but won’t be happy after shipping in a couple of goals.

LB: Lewis Hall – 7/10

Hall was far from convincing when defending inside his half and managed to create some decent chances going forward.

CM: Mateo Kovacic – 6/10

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and was replaced at half-time.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10

Fernandez got stuck in with two solid tackles and was quite inventive with his passing.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 6.5/10

He made two good runs with the ball and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

RW: Noni Madueke – 7/10

Madueke worked hard at both ends of the field but there was no goal for him today.

ST: Joao Felix – 6.5/10

He was a real threat inside the Nottingham penalty box but failed to take his chances.

LW: Raheem Sterling – 9/10

Sterling scored a brace which was enough for his team to secure a point. He was unstoppable at times during the game and deserves to be named the man of the match.

CM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 7/10

He came off the bench and picked up an assist.

RW: Hakim Ziyech – 6/10

Ziyech had two lively moments in the game.

ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10

Havertz‘s impact on the game was minimal.
