Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier today as they looked to earn a win on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a horror start to the game and found themselves 5-0 down after just 21 minutes as the Magpies tore them apart thanks to a brace each from Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak, and a goal from Joelinton. The North London club went into the half-time break 5-0 down on the scoreline.

Harry Kane got a goal back for the visitors in the 49th minute. However, Callum Wilson scored Newcastle’s sixth goal in the 67th minute. The match finished with Tottenham suffering a poor 6-1 loss away at Tyneside.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the match against the Magpies.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 5/10

Lloris was one of the toughest first half-s of his career and was replaced at half-time.

RB: Pedro Porro – 5.5/10

He didn’t impress with his performance defensively but managed to engineer two good chances going forward.

CB: Cristian Romero – 5/10

Romero made a lot of important clearances at the back but still ended up shipping in six goals today.

CB: Eric Dier – 5/10

The English talent was far from convincing at the back and gave away the ball cheaply at times.
