Joelinton, Murphy And Isak Get 9 | Newcastle United Players Rated In Dominant Win Vs Tottenham Hotspur

Newcastle United entertained Tottenham Hotspur at St. James’ Park this Saturday afternoon as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the second minute when Jacob Murphy found the back of the net. Joeltinon doubled Newcastle’s lead just four minutes later before Murphy scored again in the ninth minute. Aleksander Isak scored a quick-fire brace soon after as Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 5-0 up on the scoreline.

Harry Kane scored a consolation goal for Tottenham in the 49th minute. However, Callum Wilson put the icing on the cake when he got his name on the scoresheet in the 67th minute. The contest ended with Newcastle earning a dominant 6-1 win at Tyneside.

GK: Nick Pope – 6.5/10

Pope made a couple of solid saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.

RB: Kieran Trippier – 7/10

The English talent was a solid presence at the back and made some decent chances in the final third.

CB: Fabian Schar – 8/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch and managed to pick up a couple of assists as well.

CB: Sven Botman – 6.5/10

Botman won’t be happy after conceding in the second half but was accurate with his ball distribution.

LB: Dan Burn – 7.5/10

Burn performed his defensive duties well and made one good run with the ball.

CM: Sean Longstaff – 7/10

The English midfielder was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Bruno Guimaraes – 7.5/10

He got stuck in with a few crunching tackles and was great on the ball.

CM: Joe Willock – 8/10

Willock caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.

RW: Jacob Murphy – 9/10

Murphy made a quick start to the game and scored two early goals to give his team an ideal platform to secure a dominant win today.

ST: Alexander Isak – 9/10

He managed to score a quick-fire brace in the first half and was replaced in the 65th minute.

LW: Joelinton – 9/10

Joelinton was a real menace on the left flank and managed to find the back of the net in the sixth minute.

Substitutes:

RW: Miguel Almiron – 6/10

He added some pace to Howe’s attack.

ST: Callum Wilson – 7/10

Wilson came off the bench and got his name on the scoresheet.

RB: Javier Manquillo – 6.5/10

The Spaniard kept things solid at the back.

Lascelles didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half.
