Liverpool welcomed Nottingham Forest at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a dominant start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

The match opened up in the second half as Liverpool grabbed the lead in the 47th minute via Diogo Jota’s goal. However, the visitors responded courtesy of Neco Williams’ deflected effort just four minutes later. Jota scored again in the 55th minute but Nottingham responded positively when Morgan Gibbs-White scored with a great finish. Mohamed Salah ended up netting the winning goal for Liverpool in the 70th minute as the contest finished 3-2 in favour of Jurgen Klopp‘smen.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the match against Nottingham.

GK: Alisson Becker – 6.5/10

The Brazilian keeper made a few good saves at the back but won’t be pleased after conceding twice in the second half.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7.5/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and had a lively game in the Nottingham half. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 6.5/10

Konate won his fair share of aerial duels but was far from convincing at the back.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 6.5/10

He did his fair share of defending but lacked quality at times when defending his penalty area.
