Asensio Gets 9.5, Camavinga With 8.5 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Celta Vigo

Real Madrid faced off against Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 42nd minute when Marco Asensio found the back of the net. The Madrid giants went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Eder Militao doubled his team’s advantage in the 48th minute as Real Madrid earned an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Celta Vigo.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 7/10

Courtois made a couple of solid saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet at the Bernabeu tonight.

RB: Nacho – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was lively going forward.

CB: Eder Militao – 7.5/10

Militao cleared his lines when needed and scored an important goal early in the second half.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and was tidy with his passing.

LB: Eduardo Camavinga – 8.5/10

Camavinga did his fair share of defending and made plenty of dangerous runs down the left flank.

CM: Federico Valverde – 7/10

He worked hard and completed a couple of exciting dribbles from midfield.

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7.5/10

The French sensation anchored the midfield with conviction and was a threat going forward as well.

CM: Dani Ceballos – 7.5/10

The Spaniard helped his teammates out defensively when needed and was accurate with his passing.

RW: Marco Asensio – 9.5/10

He opened the goal-scoring for Real Madrid just before half-time. He was unplayable at times and deserves to be named the man of the match.

ST: Karim Benzema – 6.5/10

Benzema had a few strikes at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 8/10

He caused all kinds of problems for the Celta Vigo defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.

Substitutes:

RW: Lucas Vazquez – 6/10

He added some energy to Ancelotti’s attack.

CM: Luka Modric – 6/10

Modric came on in the 80th minute.

ST: Rodrygo – 6/10

Rodrygo made one encouraging run with the ball on the attacking end of the field.
