Chelsea clashed heads with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a disappointing start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 31st minute when Matheus Nunes got his name on the scoresheet. Frank Lampard’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

The West London club failed to mount a comeback in the second half and suffered a lackluster 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against Wolves.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 6.5/10

He made a few crucial saves at the back but won’t be happy after conceding a goal in the first half.

RB: Reece James – 8/10

James came back to defend when needed and managed to create a handful of promising chances in the final third.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 7/10

The French talent didn’t do much wrong at the back and was good on the ball as well.

CB: Kalidou Koulibaly – 8/10

Koulibaly made a lot of important contributions on the defensive end of the field but it was not enough in the end.

Gallagher had a few bright moments in the game but never looked like he would score.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10

He got stuck in with some crunching tackles but offered very little going forward.

CM: Mateo Kovacic – 6.5/10

The Croatia international caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal.

RW: Raheem Sterling – 6/10

He had some joy down the right flank but struggled to threaten the Wolves goal.

ST: Kai Havertz – 7/10

The German sensation worked hard at both ends of the field but lacked quality in front of the opponent’s goal.

LW: Joao Felix – 6.5/10

Felix caused some chaos inside the Chelsea penalty area but failed to find the back of the net.

He struggled to influence the game.
