Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this afternoon as they looked to earn a win at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 10th minute when Heung-min Son found the back of the net. Lewis Dunk equalised for the Seagulls in the 34th minute as the two sides went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

Harry Kane restored Tottenham’s lead in the 79th minute when he got his name on the scoresheet. The contest ended with the North London club securing a narrow 2-1 win in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the contest against the Seagulls.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 6.5/10

The French keeper made a few decent saves at the back and did enough to restrict Brighton to just one goal.

CB: Cristian Romero – 6.5/10

He did his fair share of defending inside his half and was tidy with his passing.

CB: Eric Dier – 6.5/10

The English talent earned the ball back twice and made a lot of crucial clearances at the back.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 7/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was good on the ball as well.

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Oliver Skipp – 6/10

Skipp struggled to get a foothold in the game and did well to last 87 minutes.

LM: Ivan Perisic – 7.5/10

He caught the eye at both ends of the field and ended the game with an assist to his name.

RAM: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10

Kulusevski caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders but has got nothing to show for his efforts.

LAM: Heung-min Son – 7/10

He scored the opening goal in the tenth minute but was mostly quiet in the second half.

ST: Harry Kane – 8/10

The English striker scored the only goal of the second half which helped Tottenham bag an important win at home.

RAM: Arnaut Danjuma – 6/10

He offered very little after coming off the bench.

CM: Pape Sarr – N/A

Sarr came on for the final few minutes of the contest.
