Manchester United entertained Aston Villa at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 39th minute when Bruno Fernandes found the back of the net. Erik ten Hag’s men managed to get to the half-time interval with a 1-0 lead.

The Mancunian giants sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and secured a narrow 1-0 win at the Theatre of Dreams.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against the Villans.

GK: David de Gea – 6.5/10

The Spanish keeper had to make just one save in the game and earned a comfortable clean sheet at Old Trafford.

RB: Diogo Dalot – 7.5/10

Dalot did his fair share of defending and made two good runs with the ball.

CB: Victor Lindelof – 7/10

He defended his lines well and managed to make one crucial goal-line clearance in the second half.

CB: Luke Shaw – 7/10

Shaw proved himself to be a rock at the back and will be quite satisfied with the clean sheet.
