Arsenal faced off against Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they focused on securing a win on their travels in the Premier League. The Gunners made a mediocre start to the game and were held to a goalless draw at the half-time break.

The North London club were lackluster in the Everton half and conceded the opening goal at the hour mark when James Tarkowski found the back of the net for the home side. Mikel Arteta’s players failed to come up with a response and crashed to a poor 1-0 loss at Merseyside.

Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player fared during the match against the Toffees.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 6.5/10

The English talent made a few important saves at the back but will be disappointed after conceding a goal in the second half.

RB: Ben White – 6/10

He made a couple of crucial defensive contributions but lacked quality in the Everton half.

CB: William Saliba – 7/10

Saliba did his fair share of defending inside his half and was a good presence on the ball as well.

CB: Gabriel – 6.5/10

The Brazilian sensation cleared the danger when needed but failed to keep a clean sheet today.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 6/10

Zinchenko didn’t do much wrong at the back and made one key chance from the left flank.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10

He showed some flashes of what he is capable of but lacked the cutting edge on the attacking end of the field.

CM: Thomas Partey – 7/10

The talented midfielder got stuck in with some crunching tackles and made a couple of decent runs with the ball.

CM: Granit Xhaka – 6/10

Xhaka orchestrated two good chances for his teammates but was a bit slow to react to the danger at times inside his half.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 7.5/10

He was a constant menace on the right wing but didn’t do enough to find the back of the net.

ST: Eddie Nketiah – 6.5/10

Nketiah had a few lively moments in the final third but failed to take any of his chances.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 6/10

He completed one good dribble and orchestrated two good chances in the final third.

LW: Leandro Trossard – 6/10

He was a threat in the final third.

CM: Jorginho – 6.5/10

Jorginho gave Arsenal more control in midfield.

CM: Fabio Vieira – 6/10

He offered very little in the opponent’s half after coming off the bench.

RB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – N/A

He hardly had any time to influence the game.
