Arsenal welcomed Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a bright start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 24th minute when Kevin De Bruyne pounced on Takehiro Tomiyasu’s mistake to score with a good finish. However, the North London club responded courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s penalty in the 42nd minute as the two teams went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
The Gunners conceded their second goal in the 72nd minute when Jack Grealish scored with a clinical finish. Erling Haaland ended up killing the game off just ten minutes later as Arsenal crashed to a disappointing 3-1 loss in front of their home fans.
