Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with AC Milan at San Siro earlier tonight as they focused on securing a positive result away from home in the UEFA Champions League last 16 stage. Spurs made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the seventh minute when Brahim Diaz scored for the home side. The North London club failed to mount a comeback and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Antonio Conte’s men were left frustrated in the second 45 minutes as they ended up losing the first leg by a tough 1-0 scoreline.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the match against AC Milan.

GK: Fraser Forster – 6.5/10

Forster made a few solid saves at the back but won’t be pleased after conceding an early goal.

CB: Cristian Romero – 6.5/10

He cleared the danger when needed and was a dominant presence in the air.

CB: Eric Dier – 6.5/10

Dier didn’t do much wrong at the back and was a real threat at the other end of the field as well.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 6.5/10

He made some important defensive contributions and was good on the ball.
