Paris Saint-Germain entertained Bayern Munich at Parc des Princes earlier tonight as they hoped to grind out a good result at home in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie. PSG made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Kingsley Coman finally broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute for the visitors. However, the French club failed to mount a comeback and crashed to a narrow 1-0 loss in front of their home fans.

He anchored the midfield with conviction and made a few decent runs with the ball from midfield.

He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back but had an underwhelming game going forward.

The Spaniard caught the eye at times but struggled to be decisive in the final third.

Messi caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal tonight.

He showed some glimpses of what he is capable of but didn’t do enough to find the back of the net.
