Chelsea entertained West Ham United at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they looked to earn a positive result in front of their home fans in the London derby. The Blues made a decent start to the game but failed to make their dominance count in the first half. They went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Michail Antonio finally broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute via a tap-in. However, Ben Chilwell equalised for Chelsea with a chipped effort in the 76th minute before Kai Havertz completed the turnaround for the Blues in the 88th minute. West Ham had a goal disallowed late in the game as Thomas Tuchel’s men secured a 2-1 win in the derby.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against the Hammers.

GK: Edouard Mendy – 6.5/10

The Senegalese keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back and did enough to restrict the opposition to just one goal.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 6.5/10

He kept things solid at the back and was tidy when playing his way out from inside his half.

CB: Thiago Silva – 7.5/10

The Brazilian centre-back made two crucial interceptions at the back and ended the game with an assist to his name.

CB: Kalidou Koulibaly – 7/10

He won a couple of aerial duels and made a few solid clearances on the defensive end of the field.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 6.5/10

He failed to get a stranglehold in the game and did well to last 59 minutes.

LM: Marc Cucurella – 6/10

The Spaniard made a couple of solid tackles but struggled to influence the game in the opponent’s half.

ST: Christian Pulisic – 6.5/10

He had a couple of bright moments in the game but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

ST: Kai Havertz – 7.5/10

LM: Ben Chilwell – 7.5/10

Chilwell was quite lively after coming onto the field and scored the all-important equaliser in the 76th minute.
