Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win in the London derby. Spurs made a bright star to the contest and got their noses ahead in the 40th minute when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg scored with a low strike. Antonio Conte’s men went into the half-time interval with a narrow one-goal lead.

Harry Kane doubled Tottenham’s advantage in the 75th minute. However, Fulham got a late consolation goal just eight minutes later courtesy of Alexander Mitrovic’s excellent finish. The match ended with Spurs securing a narrow 2-1 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player performed during the contest against the Cottagers.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 6.5/10

The French keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back but will be disappointed for conceding a late goal which ruined his hopes of a clean sheet.

CB: Cristian Romero – 7.5/10

The Argentine talent kept things tidy at the back and was a threat at the other end of the field as well.

CB: Eric Dier – 6.5/10

Dier made some important interceptions inside his half and was accurate with his passing.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 6.5/10

He cleared his lines when needed and was strong in the air. The Frenchman won’t be pleased after conceding such a late goal.
