Celtic clashed heads with Rangers at the Ibrox Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a victory on the road in the Scottish Premiership. The Hoops made a poor start to the derby and conceded the opening goal in the fifth minute when Todd Cantwell found the back of the net. John Souttar doubled the home side’s advantage after the half-hour mark with a good header as Celtic went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Fashion Sakala killed the game off for the Gers when he scored in the 70th minute. The Old Firm derby ended with Celtic suffering a 3-0 defeat at the Ibrox.
