Paris Saint-Germain will entertain Bayern Munich at Parc des Princes this Tuesday night as they try to earn a win in the UEFA Champions League. PSG suffered a poor 3-1 loss away at Monaco recently which has dampened their mood ahead of this game.
Christophe Galtier will probably opt for a 4-3-3 formation and could name a strong first XI for this game. Both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are major doubts for this match as they continue to recover from their respective injuries. We can expect Hugo Ekitike to spearhead Galtier’s attack up top in their absence.
4-3-3 Paris Saint-Germain Predicted Lineup To Face Bayern Munich
Defence
Gianluigi Donnarumma will function as PSG’s primary keeper as he looks to keep a clean sheet at home in midweek. Sergio Ramos could get a chance to impress alongside Marquinhos as they try to keep the opposition attackers at bay during the 90 minutes.
Achraf Hakimi will fill in as the right-back while Nuno Mendes hopes to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them could get the license to get forward and express themselves in the Bayern half.
Presnel Kimpembe and Danilo Pereira will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Fabian Ruiz, Marco Veratti and Vitinha will operate as the central midfielders as they hope to dominate the game at the centre of the park and orchestrate some decent chances for their teammates to find the back of the net. All three of them also need to make sure that they provide enough protection for their teamamtes at the back.
Warren Zaïre-Emery will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Neymar Jr. will play as the left-sided wide player while Carlos Soler hopes to catch the eye on the right flank. Both of them need to find a way to get in behind the Bayern defence at every chance they get and create some inviting chances in the final third.
Hugo Ekitike will lead the line for PSG on the attacking end of the field. He will have to find a way to cause a few headaches for the opposition centre-backs in midweek.
Both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are major doubts for this game and will be in a race against time to be fit for this clash at Parc des Princes.
