Manchester City welcomed Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they focused on collecting maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian outfit made an electric start to the game and got their noses ahead in the fourth-minute courtesy of Rodri’s goal. Ilkay Gundogan doubled Man City’s advantage in the 39th minute before Riyad Mahrez killed the game off in the first half injury-time when he converted a penalty. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 3-0 up on the scoreline.

The Mancunian giants conceded a goal in the 61st minute when Ollie Watkins found the back of the net for the Villans. The contest finished with Man City earning a comfortable 3-1 win in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against the Villans.

The Brazilian keeper made one good save during the game but failed to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Kyle Walker – 6/10

CB: Ruben Dias – 6.5/10

Dias didn’t put a foot wrong in the game and was replaced at half-time.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – 6.5/10

The Spaniard was a strong presence at the back for Man City but won’t be pleased about conceding a second-half goal.
