Newcastle United welcomed Aston Villa at St. James’ Park earlier this afternoon as they focus on collecting maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a strong start to the game and got their noses ahead in the first half injury-time courtesy of Callum Wilson’s penalty. Eddie Howe’s men were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The Tyneside outfit made an excellent start to the second 45 minutes and doubled their advantage in the 56th minute via Wilson’s header. Joelinton killed the game off just three minutes later when he got his name on the scoresheet. Miguel Almiron put the icing on the cake when he added another goal in the 67th minute with a superb strike as Newcastle earned a 4-0 victory in front of their home fans.

Willock protected his backline well and helped Newcastle establish their dominance at the centre of the park.

The South American winger was a constant menace on the right-wing and managed to find the back of the net with a brilliant strike.
