Liverpool will face Ajax as they make their trip to the Johan Cruyff Arena on Wednesday night in the Champions League group A match-up. The Reds come into the match on the back of a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest in the Premier League whereas the hosts recorded an emphatic 4-1 win over RKC Waalwijk.
The Nederlands outfit will need to grab a win in order to remain in the Champions League; meanwhile, the visitors could successfully qualify for the knockouts if they produce a better result.

Jurgen Klopp will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to the starting XI for this game. Thiago Alcantara will return to the match-day squad and take his place in the midfield whereas Darwin Nunez could recover in time for the away encounter to become a part of Liverpool’s attack.
Alfred Schreuder could opt for the 4-3-3 formation allowing Steven Bergwijn, Mohammed Kudus and Dusan Tadic to form the front three while Remko Pasveer operates in goal for his side.
