Manchester City entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn all three points at home. Pep Guardiola’s men made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 22nd minute courtesy of Erling Haaland’s goal. The Norwegian striker doubled Man City’s advantage from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute as the Mancunian giants went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Leandro Trossard pulled a goal back for the Eagles in the 53rd minute but Kevin De Bruyne made the points secure for Man City in the 75th minute when he found the back of the net. The contest ended with Guardiola’s side earning a comfortable 3-1 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against the Seagulls.
