Everton entertained Crystal Palace at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result in front of their home fans. The Toffees made a decent start to the game and scored the opener in the 11th minute when Dominic Calvert-Lewin got his name on the scoresheet. The Merseyside club went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Anthony Gordon doubled Everton’s advantage in the 63rd minute before Dwight McNeil made the points secure in the 84th minute when he found the back of the net as well. The contest finished with the Toffees earning an impressive 3-0 win at Merseyside.

Mykolenko looked sharp at both ends of the field and was a bit sloppy at times with his passing.

Gueye anchored the midfield really well and engineered one good chance in the final third.

He made a few solid tackles at the centre of the park and created one decent opportunity going forward.

RW: Anthony Gordon – 8/10

Gordon was a threat in the Palace and did well to double his team’s lead just after the hour mark.

CAM: Alex Iwobi – 7.5/10

He ran the show in the opponent’s half and has got a couple of assists to show for his efforts.

LW: Demarai Gray – 6.5/10

Gray showed a few flashes of what he is capable of but never threatened the Palace goal.

ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 8/10

Calvert-Lewin made two good runs with the ball and gave Everton an early lead by scoring in the 11th minute.

Gayle was a constant menace after coming off the bench and scored a great goal in the 84th minute.
