Newcastle United welcomed Arsenal at St. James’ Park earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home. The Magpies made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.
The Tyneside outfit finally managed to break the deadlock in the 55th minute when Ben White scored an unfortunate own goal. Bruno Guimaraes ended up making the points secure for the home side in the 85th minute when he scored with an easy finish. The contest ended with the Magpies securing an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Joelinton came back to defend when needed and caused a few headaches for the Arsenal defenders.

His pace caused a few headaches for the Arsenal defenders. He also tracked back to defend every now and then.

Wilson was a threat inside the opponent’s penalty box but didn’t do enough to score.

He made a lot of exciting runs with the ball but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.
