Chelsea entertained Brentford at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they look to secure a positive result in front of their home fans. The Blues produced a lackluster display in the first half and went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
The West London giants finally broke the deadlock in the 48th minute courtesy of a stunning strike from Antonio Rudiger. However, Vitaly Janelt equalised for the visitors just two minutes later before Christian Eriksen completed the turnaround for Brentford in the 54th minute with a good finish.
Janelt found the back of the net once again with a wonderful finish at the hour mark which left Thomas Tuchel’s men with a mountain to climb in the second half. Yoane Wissa went on to put the icing on the cake for the Bees as he scored his team’s fourth goal with a low strike in the 87th minute as Chelsea crashed to a 4-1 defeat in the English capital.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against the Bees.
