Chelsea locked horns with Manchester City at Wembley Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result in the FA Cup. The Blues made a solid start to the contest and did well to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.

Hato came back to defend when he could, but lacked quality going forward.

CM: Reece James – 6/10

He was mostly ineffective during his time on the field.

Caicedo earned the ball back twice and was always willing to have a strike at goal.

He made two positive runs with the ball but never looked like he would score.

Fernandez helped his teammates out defensively when needed, but failed to make a difference in the final third.
