Real Madrid faced off against RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Brahim Diaz finally broke the deadlock in the 48th minute as the Madrid giants ended up earning a narrow 1-0 win away from home.

He caused a few problems for the opposition defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

Diaz made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball and managed to engineer a few meaningful chances in the final third. He scored the only goal of the contest early in the second half.

He caught the eye at times but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Vinicius Jr. – 7/10
Vinicius Jr. made a few driving runs with the ball but failed to find the back of the net.
