Manchester City clashed heads with Copenhagen at the Parken earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the tenth minute thanks to Kevin de Bruyne’s effort. However, Magnus Mattsson equalised for the home team in the 34th minute before Bernardo Silva restored Man City’s lead in the 45th minute. The Mancunian giants went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Phil Foden ended up killing the game in injury time as Man City cruised to an impressive 3-1 win away from home.
