Everton will face off against Fulham at Craven Cottage this Tuesday night as they look to secure all three points on their travels in the Premier League. The Toffees suffered a poor 2-1 loss at the hands of Luton Town in the FA Cup recently, so they would be eager to put in a much-improved showing versus the Cottagers in midweek.
Sean Dyche will set his team up in a 4-4-1-1 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his starting XI for this game. Both Jordan Pickford and Arnaut Danjuma will get a chance to play from the start of this contest.
4-4-1-1 Everton Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
Jordan Pickford will feature in between the sticks for the Toffees as he looks to keep a clean sheet on the road. James Tarkowski will play alongside Jarrad Branthwaite at the centre of the Everton backline as they hope to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Nathan Patterson will try to give a good account of himself as the right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko tries to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if they are to secure a clean sheet this week.
Michael Keane will be named on the bench as he offers cover for the centre-back positions.
Midfield
Amadou Onana and James Garner will operate as the holding midfielders as they try to make life tough for the opposition in the middle of the park. Arnaut Danjuma will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Jack Harrison hopes to prove his worth on the right-wing. Both of them would be instructed to stretch the Fulham backline at every chance they get.
Dwight McNeill will function as the free-flowing, attacking midfielder. His main job would be to create some decent chances in the final third.
Attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will spearhead Dyche’s attack on his own up top. The English centre-forward has to figure out a way to threaten the opponent’s goal during the game.
Beto has to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Everton are in need of a goal by then.
