Barcelona will entertain Osasuna at the Nou Camp this Wednesday evening as they look to bounce back with a win in La Liga. The Catalan club suffered a poor 5-3 loss at the hands of Villarreal recently, so they would be eager to return to winning ways in midweek.
Xavi will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, we can once again expect to see Robert Lewandowski lead the line for Barca up top.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Osasuna
Defence
Inaki Pena will operate in goal for the Catalan club after shipping in five goals in his last appearance. Ronald Araujo will get another chance to impress alongside Andreas Christensen at the heart of Xavi’s defence as they try to keep the Osasuna attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Jules Kounde will once again fill in as the right-back while Hector Fort hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Xavi would instruct both of them to keep a good defensive shape inside their half.
Joao Cancelo and Pau Cubarsi will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Frenkie de Jong, Oriol Romeu and Ilkay Gundogan will make up Barcelona’s midfield as they try to put in a much-improved display collectively against Osasuna this week. All three of them need to find a way to orchestrate a few decent chances for their teammates up top.
Pedri will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Joao Felix will try to impress as the left-sided winger while Lamine Yamal looks to make a difference for the Catalan club on the right flank. Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for Barca on the offensive end of the field. The Polish striker would have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for his team up top.
Ferran Torres and Vitor Roque will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if Barca are in need of a goal by then.
