Manchester United faced off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Erik ten Hag’s men conceded the opening goal in the 49th minute when Pape Matar Sarr scored for the home team. Lisandro Martinez netted an unfortunate own goal in the 83rd minute as Man United crashed to a 2-0 defeat in the English capital.

Let’s take a look at how each Man United player performed during the clash against Spurs.

GK: Andre Onana – 6.5/10

Onana made a few solid stops at the back but ended up conceding twice in the second half.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6.5/10

He earned the ball back twice and had a couple of lively moments going forward.

CB: Raphael Varane – 6.5/10

Varane made a few important clearances at the back but his efforts were not enough in the end.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 6/10

The Argentine talent did his fair share of defending but will be disappointed after scoring an own goal late in the game.

RW: Antony – 7/10

Antony came back to defend when needed but was far from convincing on the attacking end of the field.

The Portugal international caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders but has nothing to show for his efforts.

The gifted youngster had a few bright moments in the final third but never looked like he would score.
