Real Madrid entertained Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 36th minute thanks to Vinicius Junior‘s effort. Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break with a slim 1-0 lead.

Kevin De Bruyne found the back of the net with a powerful strike in the 67th minute to equalise for Man City. Real Madrid failed to find the winner and had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the clash against Man City.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 7/10

The Belgian keeper made a handful of crucial saves at the back but couldn’t do much about De Bruyne’s strike.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 6.5/10

He put in a solid shift defensively and made one key chance in the final third.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6.5/10

The German talent cleared the danger when needed and won a couple of aerial duels as well.

CB: David Alaba – 6/10

He made one solid tackle and was accurate with his ball distribution from the back.
