Real Madrid entertained Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 36th minute thanks to Vinicius Junior‘s effort. Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break with a slim 1-0 lead.
Kevin De Bruyne found the back of the net with a powerful strike in the 67th minute to equalise for Man City. Real Madrid failed to find the winner and had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw at home.
