Chelsea welcomed Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home. The Blues made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 13th minute when Taiwo Awoniyi scored for the visitors. The home team struggled to get back into the game and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Raheem Sterling equalized for the Blues in the 51st minute before going on to score again just seven minutes later. However, Nottingham hit back just four minutes later when Awoniyi scored again for them. The contest ended with the West London club being held to a frustrating 2-2 draw in front of their home supporters.
