Real Madrid locked horns with Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena earlier today as they looked to earn a positive result on their travels in La Liga. Los Blancos made a slow start to the game and went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Takefusa Kubo scored the opening goal for the home side in the 47th minute. Dani Carvajal was sent off by the referee in the 61st minute which put Real Madrid in a world of trouble. Ander Barrenetxea doubled Real Sociedad’s lead in the 85th minute as Carlo Ancelotti’s men crashed to a lackluster 2-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Real Sociedad.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 6/10

The Belgian keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back but conceded two poor goals in the second half.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 5/10

He picked up two yellow cards and let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 61st minute.

CB: Eder Militao – 5.5/10

Militao was far from convincing at the back but was a threat in the final third.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6/10

The German defender was solid in the first half but struggled to impress in the second.
