Arsenal entertained Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result in the London derby. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 18th minute when Martin Odegaard found the back of the net. Odegaard doubled his team’s advantage just 13 minutes later before Gabriel Jesus made it 3-0 to Arsenal in the 34th minute. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break with a healthy three-goal advantage.

Noni Madueke scored a consolation goal for Chelsea in the 65th minute as the contest finished 3-1 in favour of the Gunners.

Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the match against the Blues.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 7/10

Ramsale made a few decent saves at the back but will be disappointed after conceding a goal in the second half.

RB: Ben White – 7/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and made two key chances in the final third.

CB: Jakub Kiwior – 6.5/10

Kiwior gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch but failed to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Gabriel – 6.5/10

He did what was required of him at the back and was a threat in the final third.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7/10

Zinchenko defended his penalty box well and was a strong presence in the air.

CM: Jorginho – 6.5/10

Jorginho kept the ball moving well but produced an uneventful display at the centre of the park.

CM: Granit Xhaka – 8/10
