Liverpool are set to face off against Fulham this weekend in a crucial match for the Merseyside club. In their previous outing, Liverpool battled to a hard-fought 4-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur, which propelled them to the fifth spot in the Premier League standings. Meanwhile, the away side come into the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat by the league leaders, Manchester City, and are sitting in 10th place on the league table.
Liverpool vs Fulham: Talking Tactics
Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a few alterations to Liverpool’s starting XI and will likely stick with the tried-and-true 4-3-3 formation. Cody Gakpo might lead the line again, supported by Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah on the wings. In midfield, Jordan Henderson could get the nod over Harvey Elliot.
Marco Silva will likely set up his side in a 4-3-3 formation, with Manor Solomon pushing for a start in the left wing while Andreas Perreira remains sidelined. Issa Diop could replace Tim Reap in the backline, as the latter also joins the treatment room after picking up an injury.

The Reds are already dealing with injuries to Calvin Ramsay (knee) and Stefan Bajcetic (adductor). Additionally, muscular problems for Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita require assessment. Thiago Alcantara was not present in the matchday squad in the last outing, and he was seen limping towards the benches, so it remains unclear whether he will be available for the upcoming game.

Manager Marco Silva confirmed that Ream had broken his arm and will miss the rest of the season. At the same time, Pereira was taken to hospital after being stretchered off with an apparent ankle issue, although Silva is still optimistic that it is not too severe.
