Chelsea clashed heads with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 12th minute when Julian Alvarez found the back of the net. Frank Lampard’s side failed to mount a comeback and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.

The West London club failed to score the equaliser in the second half and crashed to a lackluster 1-0 loss at the Etihad.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the clash against Man City.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 5.5/10

The Spaniard made just one good save in the game and won’t be pleased after shipping in a goal early in the game.

CB: Thiago Silva – 7/10

Silva gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half and did enough to restrict the opposition to just one goal.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 6.5/10

Fofana made some crucial defensive contributions but failed to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6.5/10

He cleared his lines when required and was a threat at the other end of the pitch.
