Manchester City faced off against Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on the road and take one step closer to the Premier League title. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a bright start to the contest and got their noses ahead in the 37th-minute courtesy of Ilkay Gundogan’s superb finish. Erling Haaland doubled Man City’s advantage just two minutes later as they went into the half-time break with a healthy 2-0 lead.

Gundogan scored again for the visitors in the 51st minute with an excellent freekick as the match finished 3-0 in favour of Man City.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the match against the Toffees.

GK: Ederson – 7/10

The Brazilian keeper made a few important saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet away from home.

RB: Kyle Walker – 7.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well and managed to make one positive run on the right flank.

CB: Ruben Dias – 7.5/10

Dias dealt with the danger when required and secured a crucial clean sheet away at Merseyside.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – 7/10

He didn’t hesitate to put his foot through the ball when the opposition were on the front foot. Laporte was good on the ball as well.
