Manchester City welcomed West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home and take one step closer towards the Premier League title. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a bright start to the contest but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Nathan Ake scored the opening goal for the home side in the 50th minute before Erling Haaland made it 2-0 to Man City just 20 minutes later. Phil Foden ended up getting his name on the scoresheet late in the game as the Mancunian club cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the match against the Hammers.

GK: Stefan Ortega – 7/10

Ortega made a couple of solid saves at the back and will be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

CB: Kyle Walker – 7/10

He didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half and performed well enough to secure a clean sheet.

CB: Ruben Dias – 7/10

Dias got stuck in with some solid tackles and was excellent with his ball distribution.

CB: Nathan Ake – 8/10

He managed to impress at both ends of the field and was responsible for giving Man City the lead in the 50th minute.
