Real Madrid locked horns with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to grab a victory and secure a place in the final of the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 23rd minute when Bernardo Silva found the back of the net. Silva doubled the home team’s advantage just 14 minutes later with another good finish. The Madrid giants went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Manuel Akanji killed the tie off in the 76th minute before Julian Alvarez added another goal for Man City in injury time. The contest ended with Carlo Ancelotti’s side suffering a dismal 4-0 defeat at the Etihad.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the match against Man City.

Militao made a few crucial clearances at the back and was a strong presence in the air.

CB: David Alaba – 5.5/10

Alaba struggled to keep things solid at the back and won’t be pleased after shipping in four goals tonight.
